Ace Reporter post new song to benefit Sandy victims
In the wake of a horrific natural disaster, Ooh La La‘s newest family member, Ace Reporter, has shown compassion and talent on the highest of levels. Chris Snyder (Ace Reporter) channeled his sympathy for the victims of Hurricane Sandy into writing a brand new song entitled “Empress (It’s Gonna Be A Long Night).” The band has posted the song on their bandcamp page and all proceeds will go to the Red Cross. Here’s what Chris has to say about the song:
“In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, I wanted to do something to help out with the relief efforts in New York and New Jersey. “Empress” is a love song for New York, a testament to the city’s resilience. All proceeds from the sale of “Empress” will go to the Red Cross’s ongoing relief efforts for Sandy’s victims. Go to www.redcross.org to learn how you can help.” – Ace Reporter
Just a reminder that Ace Reporter‘s new album Yearling comes out on Ooh La La on February 26, 2013, and their debut single “Untouched And Arrived” is available for free download now. Also, for you New Yorkers, here’s their next show:
