The Philadelphia Sound Preservation Project

I recently co-founded an organization called The Philadelphia Sound Preservation Project which you can learn more about here: phillysound.org. I grew up in Philadelphia and have always been passionate about preserving music history, but it wasn’t until I moved back to Philly in recent years, that I realized there was more effort to be made on behalf of the incredible music community (artists & industry) here, but also on behalf of the city’s music history. Please check out the website and subscribe to the newsletter to stay up to date on projects like the re-development of Sigma Sound Studios and also the creation of Philadelphia’s first official Music Office within city government.
