In-Flight Safety release their third album “Conversationalist” available now via Ooh La La Records and on iTunes, Spotify, and every other digital retailer under the sun. After a busy week in NYC for CMJ Music Marathon the band played to packed crowds in New Hampshire and Maine on their way home to Halifax. The band will be touring in support of the album through winter and spring 2015.

In-Flight Safety have created an album that is true to their history, but is their most adventurous and honest yet. The ten tracks on Conversationalist have guitar hooks that will get stuck in your head and make you want to dance all night, but the imagery is more mysterious. Mixed by Gus van Go (The Stills, Hollerado) in Brooklyn NY, Conversationalist is a study of beauty in opposites, and this record is both pragmatic and ethereal – it builds and burns, leaving you wanting more. It’s a love letter and a breakup in one album.

The Juno and Much Music Video Award nominated group has heard their music in an incredible collection of TV series such as The Office, Chuck, Vampire Diaries, Degrassi TNG, Rookie Blue, among many others.  Their new track Animals was recently featured in a Telus promo ad campaign. The group has performed at many festivals such as SXSW in Austin, TX, Great Escape in Brighton, UK, CMJ in New York City and Liverpool Sound City in Liverpool, UK.

GO WOLF ANNOUNCE CMJ 2014 DATES

We premiered a summery new jam from GO WOLF a few weeks ago with the fine folks at Consequence of Sound.

Although Autumn is upon us – at least, as it is here in New York City – we’re delaying the inevitable morbidity of the city cold, with a track that’s putting us straight back in the middle of an endless summer; where all of us can enjoy each other’s company outdoors. (For those of you in warmer climates, send us a postcard will ya?)

So, friends, lovers, musos and makers, do not miss out on this sunshine which we believe, you so rightfully deserve. In case you missed it, head over to the CoS post and ramp up the volume dial on a track which is sure to have you eyeing those around you. (Note: When accompanying you’re favorite Go Wolf-loving fancy on a first date, it is customary to introduce them as your “Cultural Attaché.” This will irrevocably clear you of all responsibility, yet simultaneously make you the perfect second date, and therefore – in our modern times – a living legend.)

Oh, and did we mention that Go Wolf will be playing New York City’s own CMJ Music Marathon in a couple weeks? Check out the dates below, bring your arm candy and come say Hi!

Following the release of singles “Animals” and “Caution Horses,” In-Flight Safety is streaming their forthcoming album of throbbing, guitar-drenched rock Conversationalist ahead of the album’s full release this fall. Picking up where the previous singles left off, Conversationalist sees the Halifax band dousing shimmering guitar riffs in white-washed folk inspired by their coastal surroundings to create ethereal rock that intensifies like a love letter and burns like a breakup album in one seamless flight where illustrious melodies reign supreme. Like navigating a space between Foals and the sweeping piano of Coldplay, Conversationalist soars on a crisp curl of introspective rock fated to lodge itself in your ears through the fall.

Go Wolf Releases OFFICIAL Music Video For “Talk To You”

Watch the OFFICIAL Music Video For “Talk To You” Below!

“The song has a fun, fresh feel to it, we wrote it really quickly and love playing it live. We wanted to get that across in the video, so we basically got all our friends to sing along to it in the studio and express themselves however they wanted. We love how it turned out!” -Scott Jamison of Go Wolf

“Talk To You” Available on iTunes

A week after the release of Go Wolf’s new single, “Talk To You,” the band releases the OFFICIAL music video! Premiered on PopMatters, the video features some of Go Wolf’s fans and friends jamming along to the “bouncy, summer ready” track.

The Go Wolf origin story is almost too perfectly arty to be true: a poetry night in a Belfast barbershop.  Chris enjoys Scott’s poem and notices their similar dress sense. Outside afterwards, a stranger notices the same thing. They start talking and decide to form a band. With the addition of Steve on drums and some killer songs, the trio have quickly become one of the most talked about names in the Belfast scene

Full of style, charisma and a dedication to perfectly pure pop, the band have already supported the likes of The 1975, CSS, and London Grammar. This Thursday (8/21/14), Go Wolf will add to that roster as they play with Bastille and The Killers at Tennent’s Vital!

AVAILABLE AUGUST 12!!

Following the release of “One More Night” earlier this summer, Go Wolf is back with a brand new single entitled “Talk to You.” A week ahead of it’s August 12th release, the track was premiered today on Consquence of Sound!

The Go Wolf origin story is almost too perfectly arty to be true: a poetry night in a Belfast barbershop. Chris enjoys Scott’s poem and notices their similar dress sense. Outside afterwards, a stranger notices the same thing. They start talking and decide to form a band. With the addition of Steve on drums and some killer songs, the trio have quickly become one of the most talked-about new names in the Belfast scene.

Full of style, charisma and a dedication to perfectly pure pop, the band have already supported the likes of The 1975CSS and London Grammar, while frontman Scott has turned his considerable production chops to remixes for the likes of Ed Zealous and Ryan Vail. Like all the best partnerships, there’s a tangible creative tension between Scott and Chris, and it results in wonderfully realized pop music. Wallow in the sumptuous single “Voices”, a synth- pop confection as sophisticated as Phoenix and as intimate as The xx. Or see them live, where their infectious, rhythmic tunes recall the likes of Talking Heads and Little Dragon. Go Wolf are all about artful pop music that is simple, sensual and powerful.
